“No one can resist my Schweddy Balls,” Alec Baldwin noted on SNL. Well, apparently moms can. It took only two weeks for a conservative Christian group to decry Ben & Jerry’s homage to Saturday Night Live’s “Schweddy Balls” sketch with Alec Baldwin, Ana Gasteyer and Molly Shannon.

One Million Moms, a group aligned with the right-wing Christian organization American Family Association, is taking a stand against the new ice cream flavor. The matriarchs expressed their disdain in a post on their site, urging members to email a Ben & Jerry’s publicist to prohibit further distribution of the rum-flavored ice cream with fudge-covered malt balls.

“The vulgar new flavor has turned something as innocent as ice cream into something repulsive,” the post reads. The group dubs Ben & Jerry’s repeat offenders; referencing a previous special edition release of Hubby Hubby, the flavor intended to pay tribute to gay marriage.

But as Ben & Jerry’s admits, the flavor is all in good jest. After all, aren’t children bound to come across “Schweddy Balls,” ban or no ban?
