Remember when you were a kid and you wanted to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle? Well now anyone can be — or, at least, their nose can.
Who knew something as simple as drawing a ninja mask to a celebrity’s nose could transform them? This week’s Tumblr features photos of notable persons (and average joes) with the likes of Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Donatello drawn onto their noses. What’s amazing is that whether it’s a Kate Middleton-shaped nose or a Jesus-shaped nose, everyone really seems to wear turtle quite well. (Unless, of course, a particular nose is more suited for a Shredder.)
What’s the point of it all? It’s hard to say for sure, but most likely this meme started as way to remind us of the thing that binds us: a love of TMNT.
