Tim Tebow serves time in jail? Yes, but not in the conventional way. Tebow’s commitment to follow the Biblical mandate to love the prisoner has made him a popular visiting prison preacher. In college, Tebow shared his evangelical message at some half a dozen Florida prisons, where he led inmates in prayer and then distributed and signed Bibles. His words had an immediate impact—nearly 140 out of 816 inmates made decisions to become “born-again” at one correctional facility in August 2009.
