The newly minted NBA phenom has traveled an unlikely path from Harvard to the New York Knicks

Jeremy Lin was not chosen by any team in the NBA draft, but he did get a chance to strut his stuff in the NBA Summer League (here he is shown playing for the Dallas Mavericks on July 15, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada). He was offered contracts by the Mavs, Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, and Lin, a Palo Alto native, opted to sign with his hometown team, the Warriors.
