Watch: Tornadoes Touch Down Across the Midwest

Early Wednesday morning, a series of tornadoes pushed through the midwestern United States, ravaging the famed music town of Branson, Mo. and causing damage throughout Illinois and Kansas. At least nine people have been confirmed dead.

This video shows the severe storm rolling into Hutchinson, Kans., around sunset. A tornado touched down here over open country fields.

Severe thunderstorms raged through Kansas City, Mo. Tuesday night, as seen in the following video.

Just south of Stapleton, Neb., in the west-central part of the state, the first tornado touched down in an open field.
