There are two kinds of people in this world. First, there are the people who possess an extremely vague understanding of what Game of Thrones is about and have possibly confused it with The Hunger Games on occasion. Then there are the people who love the HBO series, and the George R.R. Martin novels upon which it’s based, with such a fierce passion that they’ve considered ending friendships with members of the first group.

Now it seems HBO hopes to divide mankind even further by creating a new subgroup altogether: the people who love GoT so much they’d be willing to drop $30,000 on a life-sized replica of the Iron Throne — the physical and metaphorical seat of power of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, forged centuries ago by Aegon the Conqueror.

The throne stands an imposing 7’2″ tall and weighs 350 pounds. Considering its size — and the added shipping charge of just $1,800 — the five-figure price tag is a steal. Unfortunately, the home version isn’t constructed from the sharpened, bloody swords of your vanquished foes, but instead from “hand-finished, hand-painted fiberglass and fire-proof resin,” according to the HBO Store website.

We’re counting on you, Game of Thrones fanatics. You don’t really need that mortgage downpayment or college tuition money, do you? Just think how awesome this will look in your living room.
