“Linsanity” is back, but this time fans aren’t in love with Jeremy Lin.
A Linsane fan has produced “Jeremy Lin That I Used to Know,” a musical parody of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” that mourns the sports star’s move to the Houston Rockets. Yesterday the Knicks confirmed that they would not match the Rockets’ three-year, $25.1 million contract. Gotye’s mellow song perfectly jibes with fans’ feelings of betrayal. The video’s Linning dig: “Playing for the Rockets, and they’re still gonna suck.”
