Think of it as the ultimate customer loyalty program. Only problem: it isn’t remotely legal.
A car wash and brothel in Kuala Lumpur ran afoul of the law earlier this month when police in the Malaysian capital caught wind of its highly questionable loyalty scheme.

In order to qualify for the “promotion,” customers needed to have at least nine car washes over a fixed amount of time. On the tenth wash, customers were then offered sexual favors as a “thank you” for their loyalty.
According to the Malay Mail:
Selangor National Key Result Area (NKRA) Crime Prevention Division officer-in-charge, ASP Emmi Shah Fadhil, said police got wind of the activity after the raiding team found several car wash loyalty cards from five customers who were caught having sex with the prostitutes.
“It was supposed to be just another routine operation,” he said. Emmi Shah said the team later found out that customers who sent their cars to the nearby car wash will be given a loyalty card each.

When authorities raided the operation, they found nine Vietnamese women in the back of the building and storeroom, all without proper working permits. The women and the operators of the car wash were immediately detained and taken into police custody.
Authorities are still investigating the situation. Prostitution is illegal in Malaysia.
