And vote for the President. “Wake the F— Up” is an extremely NSFW ad starring The Avengers actor and produced by the Jewish Council for Education and Research that riffs on the satirical book Go the F— to Sleep.

Somewhere in America, we find ourselves in the home of a family who enthusiastically backed Obama in 2008 but who now shrugs at the notion of political involvement. This is unacceptable to Nick Fury, who appears — suddenly, magically, and at increasingly inopportune moments — to rouse them from their torpor. “Sorry my friends, but there’s no time to snore. An out-of-touch millionaire has just declared war,” he tells the television-watching parents, before getting serious and deadpanning the line, “Wake the f— up.” He’s got similar tailor-made messages for the brother and sister and grandparents too. The writer for the ad, as The Slatest noted, is Adam Mansbach–the author who penned the original Go the F— to Sleep.
