At least 50 people have been injured after a high-speed commuter ferry struck a dock in Lower Manhattan during rush hour Wednesday morning, and the coverage of the accident has been nearly instantaneous. Media outlets, bystanders and even the mayor’s office posted photos and video of the boat, which was carrying hundreds of New Jersey commuters, and the aftermath.
