Maybe it’s the monotony, maybe its the ill-fitting car seats, maybe it’s just the only time we can get them to sit still. But young children in cars do some amazing things.
Listen, parents. Children don’t want to sing along to kiddie songs like “The Wheels on the Bus” in the car anymore. Sometimes they just want to rock.
Take, for example, this Italian toddler, who can’t get enough of Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love.” The video, originally posted in November 2011, has taken off again and now has nearly 1 million views on YouTube. Because hey, it’s a cute kid listening to Led Zeppelin.
But it’s not just classic rock that’s getting kiddies moving. As Twitter parenting expert @HonestToddler tweeted yesterday, “Toddlers should start inventing songs with agendas. ♫ Put the fruit snacks in the cart, stop pretending you don’t have money ♪.” If it’s not Led Zeppelin, it’s Nirvana or Lady Gaga —or even PSY’s “Gangnam Style.” Fasten your seatbelts for five more of the cutest Babies on Board.
