Prince Harry, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge raise their wands on the set used to depict Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter Films during the Inauguration Of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden on April 26, 2013 in London, England.
On Friday Kate Middleton and Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge — along with royal bro Prince Harry — toured Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden near London, where movies based on J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series were filmed. The royals saw props, costumes, and models from the films, walked around the set of Hogwarts School and received a wand lesson.
According to the Associated Press, William joked that “Harry’s just excited to see a real life talking owl in the Harry Potter studios. I haven’t told him yet that Harry Potter is fictional, so please keep the secret for a little longer?”
Basically, they seemed like your average group of young and impossibly charming people out for a day of fun. And now they have wands.
