It’s been a busy week for actor Morgan Freeman, who has been making the rounds to promote Now You See Me, his new film about a group of magicians that pull off a big heist. On Tuesday night, he attended the New York City premiere with fellow cast members Michael Caine, Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher and Woody Harrelson.

Maybe the festivities caught up with him the next morning because the Seattle morning show Q13 Fox News This Morning says he dozed off “a couple of times” in the middle of an interview with anchors Kaci Aitchison and Bill Wixey Wednesday. But see for yourself: Do you think the Academy Award-winning actor really fell asleep while Michael Caine explained how the actors did magic tricks in the film? Or maybe he was just meditating?

He seemed to perk up when Q13’s Wixey asked the March of the Penguins narrator what advice he would give to his daughter, who just landed a role as a narrator in a school play. “It’s being a good reader, that’s all,” he said, “and having a clear voice.”

Now You See Me opens in theaters May 31.

UPDATE: Freeman posted the best response on Facebook late Thursday:

“Regarding my recent interview, I wasn’t actually sleeping. I’m a beta tester for Google Eyelids and I was merely taking the opportunity to update my Facebook page.”
