St. Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow by Mikki the Chimp
Photographs by a chimpanzee sold for £50,000 (or $75,000) at a Sotheby’s auction in London on June 5. “Our Russia Through The Eyes of Mikki” is a collection of 18 images taken by the chimp, who was once a performer at the Moscow Circus and trained by artists Vitaliy Komar and Alexander Melamid to use a camera. Mikki’s oeuvre includes photographs of Moscow’s Red Square and some of them are quite blurry. But artistically blurry.
