Kanye West Kicked Off a Big Week for the Watch the Throne Duo with the Leak of Yeezus. The new album has been described as “stripped-down” and “angry,” among other things; it’s officially available tomorrow. (New York Times)

Then Kim Kardashian Gave Birth to a Daughter. And as you might be aware, ‘Ye is the father. The child has yet to be named, but one should assume that the letter ‘K’ will play a prominent role. (NBC News)

But ‘Big Brother’ Claimed the Weekend. In a lengthy commercial during Game 5 of the NBA Finals last night, Jay-Z announced that he’ll be releasing his next album on July 4th. It’s called Magna Carta Holy Grail and yes, all of the relevant jokes have already been made on Twitter. (Flavorwire)

Phil Mickelson Failed to Follow Suit. The three-time Masters champion fell just short for the sixth time at the U.S. Open, finishing at +3, two strokes behind champ Justin Rose. The real winner though was Merion, where the tournament was played—not a single player finished at or under par on Sunday. (Keeping Score)

Speaking of Suits… Or, more specifically, lack thereof, Robert Downey Jr. nearly broke a child’s heart when he showed up to meet the Massachusetts boy not as Iron Man, but rather as a plain ol’ Academy Award-nominated movie star. (The Daily What)
