More than thirty items that federal investigator Kenneth Starr examined while gathering evidence for the impeachment case against former President Bill Clinton went up for auction Monday on the Nate D. Sanders website. Bidding for the items, which include a negligee that allegedly belonged to the White House intern, began at $2,500. The 32-item lot includes White House keepsakes, greeting cards and several articles of clothing that reportedly belonged to Lewinsky. The former White House intern’s infamous blue dress, however, is not included in the collection.

“Items owned by Monica Lewinsky, especially relating to the Clinton scandal and Ken Starr investigation are exceedingly rare,” auctioneer Nate D. Sanders told Reuters. “This is, to my knowledge, the only collection of this nature to come to light.” The auction closes on June 27.

The collection reportedly came from Lewinsky’s former high school teacher, Andy Bleiler, with whom she also has been linked to romantically. In addition to Lewinsky’s clothing, the lot includes eleven greeting cards sent by Lewinsky to Bleiler. A Valentine’s Day card reads, “Dear Andy, Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope this day is filled with lots of love, hugs, n’ kisses!!! I miss you! xoxoxo Monica.” The signed letter from Clinton, which was dated February 20, 1996, was reportedly sent to Bleiler on his birthday at Lewinsky’s request. All of the items ended up in the possession of Kate Nason, Bleiler’s ex-wife.

The Senate acquitted Clinton of impeachment charges on February 12, 1999. Lewinsky, who is now 39, moved to Great Britain to avoid the limelight.
