There are a lot of questions to be asked about Breaking Bad‘s final eight episodes — Will Jesse get caught? Will Walt die? Will anyone eat at Pollo Loco again? — but if you’re questioning what brew to bring to your Breaking Bad viewing party, look no further than Heisenberg’s Dark, Breaking Bad’s very own beer.
According to Breaking Bad Location’s Instagram feed, the Albuquerque-based Marble Brewery — which is occasionally used as a location on the show — will be making an India Pale Ale-style beer called “Heisenberg’s Dark” to commemorate Breaking Bad’s final season. To be clear: It’s highly unlikely that the ale contains meth, opting instead for a classic, legal hops base. The Breaking Bad-branded beer is yet another in a series of television show crossover quaffs, including Game Of Thrones’ Ommegang’s Iron Throne Ale, The Simpsons Duff Beer, and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’s collaboration with California’s Stone Brewing Co. We still have to wait for an Arrested Development ale, The Good Wife lager or The Bachelorette brew.

Currently Marble Brewery has no plans to sell the beer outside of Albuquerque, so if you want to sample Heisenberg’s Dark, you will have to head to New Mexico. That said, one thing we’ve learned from watching five seasons of Breaking Bad is that if there is enough demand for a product, distribution channels can expand.
Breaking Bad season 5 is set to return with its final eight episodes on July 14th.
