Among the most controversial and charismatic owners in NFL history, Al Davis modeled the Oakland Raiders in his own outlaw image and pushed the team with his all-American mantra, “Just win, baby.” The day after Davis died in 2011, the Raiders beat the Houston Texans on a final-play interception even though they had only ten men on the field. In a post-game interview, head coach Hue Jackson told reporters that Davis “had his hand on that ball.”
