Japan's Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, left, and wife Miyuki Miyuki Hatoyama arrive at Singapore's Changi airport November 14, 2009.
Former Japanese First Lady Miyuki Hatoyama might be a notable figure across the globe, but she also believes in life far beyond the boundaries of Earth. In a 2008 book titled Very Strange Things I’ve Encountered, Hatoyama wrote, “While my body was asleep, I think my soul rode on a triangular-shaped UFO and went to Venus.” The now 70-year-old former actress said her husband, former Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, probably thought it was just a dream, but she took the experience much more seriously and maintains that she was abducted by aliens.
