The R&B quartet En Vogue was formed in 1989 with members Dawn Robinson, Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron-Bragg and Maxine Jones. Over the next decade, the group received seven Grammy nominations, six American Music Awards and sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. Robinson left the group in 1997 and Jones in 2001, leading En Vogue to experiment with a number of replacements before the original group reunited for a triumphant live performance at TV One’s 2008 Trumpet Awards.
