While Google cofounder Sergey Brin and his entrepreneur wife Anne Wojcicki are no longer sleeping under the same roof, the other Silicon Valley power couple – Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his doctor wife Priscilla Chan – appears to be in power-nesting mode.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the newlyweds are in the midst of an extreme, $1.6 million makeover for the $10 million mansion in the Mission District of San Francisco that they bought in November of last year.

Among the renovations to the 5,542-square-foot, four-bedroom home:

$720,000 for a new office, media room, half-bathroom, mud room, laundry room, wine room and wet bar on the first floor, plus a new half-bathroom on the second floor and remodeling on the top two floors

$750,000 for other additions, including a new roof, windows and landscaping

$65,000 kitchen and bathroom remodel

$60,000 greenhouse

The estimates come from construction permits requested by the couple’s contractor that the paper dug up in city records.
