Chuck E. Cheese: Where Kids Can be Kids and Adults Can be Arrested for Battery

As if the rickety animatronic characters and cardboard cheese pizza weren’t terrifying enough, a Chicago Chuck E. Cheese turned into a crime scene after a brawl broke out Sunday night, injuring three people.

Police say that the 7:10 p.m. fight “started over a disagreement of people waiting in line for prizes.” Shambreya Barfield and Trevell Washington, both 21, were arrested and charged with one and two counts of misdemeanor battery respectively.

They must have really wanted that mini basketball hoop.
