The 6 Coolest YouTube Music Awards Nominees

The YouTube Music Awards will take place in New York City on Nov. 3 and will be livestreamed online beginning at 6 p.m. ET. Nominees were chosen based on videos that are at the top of their game in terms of views, shares, likes, comments, and subscribers in the last year, but fans can vote on YouTube by sharing specially marked videos on social media. Based on the full list of nominees, we've highlighted the most awesome ones in each of the six categories.

Because we can’t stop talking about her after she twerked with Robin Thicke at the VMAs in August. Not to mention during the government shutdown, Saturday Night Live made it really hit home for us with a “We Did Stop (The Government)” parody earlier this month, starring Miley, the show’s host, as Michele Bachmann (R-MN) and an oversexed House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) character played by cast member Taran Killam.
