Researchers at Microsoft are taking a page from Victoria’s Secret to find a way to a woman’s heart.
Her actual heart, that is. A visualization and interaction research group at the tech giant designed a bra with removable sensors that monitor mood levels through a smartphone app, BBC reports. The goal was to see if wearable technology could prevent “emotional eating” by measuring when stress was likely to strike.
The wearable technology measured women’s electrocardiograms (EKG) near the heart, monitoring their emotions for about six hours a day over four days. The team attempted to develop wearable tech underwear for men, but the sensors were um, too far from the heart to calculate an accurate measurement. Looks like Kramer was onto something:
