Here’s a new use for leftover beer cans: a Florida blogger and reported atheist plans to air his grievances about a nativity scene in the rotunda of the state capitol in Tallahassee by placing a Festivus pole made out of empty PBR beer cans near the manger, local Florida news outlets report.

The above video, uploaded to YouTube today by the activist blogger Chaz Stevens, shows how he constructed the nearly six-foot pole to the tune of Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA.” On Dec. 11, Stevens is expected to install the piece, which is a variation on the one he put up alongside Christian displays in Deerfield Beach last year, according to the New Times Broward-Palm Beach. However, he did not personally consume all that PBR; he does not drink, according to his website.

Festivus is the satirical holiday celebrated on Seinfeld and involves the “airing of grievances”  — a rant about all the annoying things that happened in the past year — as well as a demonstration of “feats of strength.” In the hit TV show, George’s father, Frank Costanza, claimed he used an aluminum pole instead of a decorated tree to ring in Festivus because tinsel is “distracting.” You can watch the super-cut below to refresh your memory of the holiday’s origins:
