A British woman who donated a kidney to her dying husband wants her organ back, after he cheated on her with her friend post-recovery.
Samantha Lamb, 41, gave her husband Andy a kidney to save him from years of dialysis and allow him a chance to see his grandchildren. But he walked out on her a few years after the donation, and Samantha found out that he had been having an affair with her friend.
Now she wants her kidney back.
“I can’t believe he now has a second chance to live to see his grandchildren grow up,” Lamb told UPI. “I would definitely go through the operation again — but I wouldn’t give the kidney to him. I hate him. If I could I’d take it back and give it someone else. Obviously I don’t want people to be put off putting their names on the organ donor list. But all I want from him is his name on the divorce papers.”
Although the other woman admits that she and Andy were having an affair, Andy denies that he cheated on Samantha. He says he was just helping the friend train her dog.
