Meet Nasar, The Horse Who Lives In a House

He's a good NEIGHbor too.

Stephanie Arndt didn’t mean to get a new roommate. But when Hurrican Xaver hit northern Germany in December, Arndt took in a temporary refuge from the weather who ended up sticking around: a 3-year-old Arabian horse named Nasar. Arndt, who was the horse’s owner to begin with (no equine-napping occurred) saw that her animal grew accustomed to life indoors and decided to let Nasar stay in her home in Holt, Germany.

Photographer Carsten Rehder visited Arndt’s house, capturing some remarkable photos of Nasar in his favorite place:
