Tuesday was a momentous day for Neil Armstrong, as it marked the 41st anniversary of his successful walk on the moon. But back at sea level, Armstrong obtained a new security headache.
The BBC reports that two Massachusetts men allegedly stole a customs-related document from Armstrong, attempting to sell the form. The Boston Globe adds that the alleged heist occurred at a Logan International Airport security checkpoint.
For whatever price the document could have grossed, the BBC notes that the maximum penalty for the crime is a steep one — 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
