Could “Angry Thursdays” be the next to trend on the networking site?
A new study traced key words linked to particular moods and their frequencies in tweets. As it turns out, people are angrier on Thursdays — yes, even more so than on Mondays.
Researchers from Northeastern and Harvard also ran tweets from the last three years against a word list to plot the country’s happiness throughout the day. As expected, people are also unhappy during the hours of the standard work day. More surprising, tweeters on the West Coast are typically happier on average.
