Two men in Britain are being held by police after it was suspected that they plotted to kill singer Joss Stone.

The men, who are both in their thirties and from Manchester, were arrested after suspicious neighbors spotted an unfamiliar vehicle near Stone’s home in Devon. What was initially suspected to be a thwarted burglary soon took a twist when police discovered that the men were carrying “swords, plans of the singer’s home and a body bag,” according to the BBC. Police now believe that the men were plotting to kidnap or kill the singer.

For her part, 24-year-old Stone, whose hits “Fell in Love With A Boy” and “The Choking Kind” have helped her reach an estimated net worth of $15 million, has told the press that she’s aware of the arrests but that she “absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal.” (Maybe she doesn’t know about the swords, because that’s just terrifying.)

Police are still investigating, and the area around Stone’s home is being patrolled by officers. (via BBC)
