Shocker alert: The Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts are a bit archaic when it comes to gender stereotypes.

A million cubic metres of red mud burst out of a sludge reservoir last Monday, flooding three local villages and fouling rivers including a tributary of the Danube. The town of Devecser, home to 5,400 people, is on alert should it need to be evacuated.
