Late pop star Michael Jackson’s crystal-studded glove sold for $190,000 at an auction.

The glove was worn by Jackson during his 1984 Victory tour, and was one of 200 items up for auction in Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, over the weekend. In total the sale fetched just under a whopping $1 million.

“People flew in from Asia, Russia, all over. Now that he’s gone, we now realize the true legend we lost,” Darren Julien, the man who ran the auction, told the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Some items sold for over 10 times their value. And it looks like the value of his memorabilia increased proportionally to the time elapsed since his death. In September 2009, the first of his gloves sold for $49,000.
