Toy manufacturers know that Kate Middleton is quite a doll. So just weeks after the Franklin Mint unveiled its $195 vinyl portrait doll, London’s Hamley’s toy store is honoring the future Mrs. William Windsor with the Princess Catherine Engagement Doll.

Priced at a more reasonable £35 ($57), the doll’s makers claim the Mini-Middleton “oozes British style”: seven British fashion designers and stylists teamed up to accessorize and style the 13-inch creation. Designers at London’s Pussy Willow Bespoke Couture made the doll’s sumptuous dress, and the award-winning hat makers at Katherine Elizabeth Millinery designed Kate’s fascinator headpiece. Babette Wasserman designed the ring, which is made from sterling silver and plated with rose gold, and boasts a purple Amethyst central stone “set amongst 24 brilliant-cut diamante cubic zirconias.” That’s a major rock for a princess fashioned out of plastic.

The attention to detail extends to the doll’s Eaton Clutch Bag—an exact replica of Kate’s—which features a gold mock snake leather effect, gold chain and horseshoe clasp. The doll’s high heels evoke shoe designer Beatrix Ong, and include the designer’s label on the insole. And Louise Constad, a make-up artist who has worked with Michelle Pfeiffer and Tina Turner, made sure the doll has the matte complexion we’ve come to expect from Kate. Good thing. The bright lights of the toy store are enough to make any princess a bit shiny. (via Hello!)
