It seems we might just be ready for a few more neighborhood Bible studies, since a recent Zillow poll shows our most desirable neighbor for 2012 is Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow.

The annual poll asks U.S. adults which celebrities they would most want to share a fence with, and, of course, those they least want to have on their block. Tebow edged out everyone, with 11% of all those polled choosing him as the best option, including 14% of males and 7% of females. We guess Tebow is one bachelor that doesn’t instill fear of loud parties and reckless behavior.

A pair of celebrity couples followed Tebow, with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt garnering 10% of the vote and Pitt’s ex, Jennifer Aniston, and Justin Theroux earning 9%. Those polled with kids much preferred having some playmates running around the cul-de-sac, choosing the Jolie/Pitt combo with even more regularity.

Even with the allure of celebrities next door (like we can really afford that anyway), 42% opted to nix having a celebrity in the neighborhood at all, up from 27% last year.

“As a voyeuristic culture that breathlessly tracks every celebrity movement, it’s extremely surprising to see so many Americans saying they wouldn’t like to live next to any celebrity at all,” Zillow’s Amy Bohutinsky said in a statement. “We may want to watch, read and talk about celebrities, but when it comes to sharing a back fence, many Americans think it’s just too close for comfort.”

The worst-case scenario? Potential neighbors rejected the cast of Jersey Shore (28%), Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian.
