Only 14 seconds long, but nonetheless chilling.

The video uploaded to YouTube by a runner’s daughter shows one of the bombs going off just meters ahead of her mother.

The marathoner’s camera captures the flash, smoke and loud bang of the explosion. Immediately afterward, the camera points at the ground as you see the mother’s feet change direction. But you don’t need to see the chaos to hear the screams.

The video and the source are authentic and it was confirmed to TIME by a Storyful news editor (Storyful posted the video on its YouTube page).

The daughter posted a message accompanying the video on her YouTube account: “This is a video my mom recorded of the explosion. We are so lucky we got out of there when we did. My mom didn’t finish the race but we are all safe and that’s what matters. My heart goes out to [the] victims[.]”

The blasts killed at least three people, including an 8-year-old boy, and injured more than 140.
