An audacious thief made light work of stealing a 250-pound safe from a Massachusetts restaurant, strolling off with it in his hands.
Security camera footage at Stockholders in Weymouth, near Boston, shows the man, dressed in tan jacket and wooly hat, enter the eatery talking on his mobile phone and then leave with the safe wrapped in a trash bag.
“I’ve never even heard of something this brazen,” restaurant owner Kevin Hynes, who previously served a decade on Weymouth Police Force, told CBS.
