Movies, naturally, imitate reality. But what if the movie becomes your reality? One Georgia woman was sitting through the trailers waiting for her the movie to start. And that day, the pre-roll ads before Fast Five included a soon-to-be-released fairy tale film about a man asking a father for his daughter’s hand in marriage. But — wait a minute, was that her boyfriend? And her father? As it happens, she was correct: her boyfriend raced into the theater as the trailer ended to make this fake film a reality.
(This worked really well for the New York Times’ David Pogue, too.)
