It’s always a treat when Bill Hader sits down with Seth Meyers at the “Weekend Update” desk to perform his spirited James Carville impression. This time, the political pundit stopped by to discuss gun control, but he mostly just shimmied and gestured and shared bizarre anecdotes about his life back home in Louisiana. To be fair, the Ragin’ Cajun did offer some sound commentary too. When Meyers brought up Senator Tom Coburn’s self background-check proposal, Carville swiftly replied, “Seth, doing your own background check makes about as much sense as doing your own prostate exam. Sure, it sounds like a simple solution, but if you don’t have a medical degree, you’re just a guy with his finger up his butt.”
