More than 30 years after Led Zeppelin broke up (following the 1980 death of drummer John Bonham), the group still reigns as one of rock’s greatest bands. In 2007, Led Zeppelin’s three surviving members (Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones) reunited at London’s 02 Arena for a tribute concert for music executive Ahmet Ertegun. Bonham’s son, Jason Bonham, replaced his late father on drums for the show, and the performance was such a success that fans dreamed of a full-blown Zeppelin tour. But it was not to be. Plant, who is currently on tour with his latest band, Sensational Space Shifters, added to rumors again recently when he told an audience in Washington, D.C., earlier this month, “Remember, it’s never over,” he said. “See you soon.”
