The most common question Denise Doorlag of Michigan gets when people see her Great Dane, Zeus, is simply: “Is that a dog or a horse?” A dog it is: as measured in October 2011, Zeus stands 44 inches tall and stretches as limousine-esque 7 feet, 4 inches. Not only is Zeus the tallest living dog now, but he’s the tallest living dog ever. Just be glad he’s a shorthaired animal.
