They say two heads are better than one, but the Winklevoss’ identical skulls weren’t enough to beat Mark Zuckerberg to the Facebook punch. The Winklevii have still managed to do well for themselves, and have mostly done so in tandem. Together, they attended Harvard, taught themselves HTML at 13, started a web business company and the doomed social network ConnectU (co-founded by classmate Divya Narendra and later renamed HarvardConnection), co-founded their high school’s crew team, rowed together in the 2008 Olympics, and started the Winklevoss Capital venture firm. They’re so harmonious that actor Armie Hammer played both twins in The Social Network, though a body double was used for Tyler.
