Marathons can make for awkward photos. But not for Zeddie Little, who found himself in the camera’s eye during a March race in Charleston, S.C. After a photo from the 2012 Cooper River Bridge Run was posted online, Little’s rugged good looks, coupled with his easy smile and well-coiffed hair, earned him the online nickname of “Ridiculously Photogenic Guy.” Nothing else was known about the runner, but the viral fame surrounding the photo spurred a local newspaper into action, and they were able to identify him by his bib number as a 25-year-old New Yorker. A slew of interview requests followed, with Little eventually appearing on morning shows. His face will live on via images sporting captions underscoring the Internet’s adoration: “Runs Marathon and Wins… My Heart.” After Little was snapped looking so stunning, photographers were on the lookout for other ridiculously good-looking people in situations where people aren’t often worried about their appearances. This led to the unveiling of Ridiculously Photogenic Surgery Girl and even Ridiculously Photogenic Syrian Rebel.
