Katherine Jackson, left, and Janet Jackson
The intra-Jackson feud that boiled over this summer is hardly the first for the sprawling showbiz clan. In July, five of the Jackson siblings — Janet, Jermaine, Tito, Randy and Rebbie — accused the executors of their brother Michael’s will of mishandling his estate. The following week, their mother Katherine Jackson, who was named a beneficiary in the will and is the legal guardian of her grandchildren Prince, Paris and Blanket, supposedly went missing, and the proverbial “Jackson family insiders” speculated that Katherine was spirited away by the siblings trying to wrest control. Tensions culminated in a reported driveway confrontation between Paris and Janet, Jermaine and Randy. The question is, What would the tabloids do without the Jacksons?
